Breakfast is My Love Language

If there’s one thing everyone knows about me, it’s that I love breakfast food. Lately, I’ve been experimenting with intermittent fasting — and while it has its benefits, I can’t lie… I really miss sitting down to a good breakfast. They say it’s the most important meal of the day, right?

For me, breakfast has always been about comfort and flavor. Here are a few pics that I took from my past cruise. As you can see, I absolutely love oatmeal. A thick, hearty bowl of oatmeal will brighten any cloudy morning for me. I love dressing it up with almonds or walnuts, raisins or craisins, a sprinkle of brown sugar, and just a touch of butter. Simple, but so satisfying.

Then there are the classics — pancakes stacked high, waffles dripping with syrup, butter melting into every little square. Pure happiness on a plate.

And of course, eggs. What’s breakfast without eggs? Scrambled, fried, poached — I’ll take them all.
But here’s the fun part: on my recent cruise, I met a new love… salmon benedict.

Who knew it could be that good? Creamy, savory, a little fancy — it was love at first bite, and now I’m hooked.

So yeah, even if I’m not eating breakfast every day right now, my heart (and stomach) will always belong to it. Breakfast will always have my heart — it’s simply unbeatable.
