Planting Season 2026: Part I

Well, well, well… it’s the end of May, and things are finally looking up! 🌱

I got started a little later than planned this season, but I’m feeling confident that I’ll finish strong. This year, I decided to expand—and I’m still very much in the process of doing just that. Right now, I have three garden boxes up and running, with plans to add two more… maybe even three once everything comes together.

So far, I’ve added two steel raised beds and one wooden garden box. I’m holding off on building the rest until the ground dries out a bit more. The steel beds were layered with mulch, ground soil, garden soil, and topsoil, while the wooden box kept it simple with ground soil, garden soil, and topsoil—no mulch this time.

All of my plants are transplants this season. I didn’t get a chance to start from seed, but I’m already looking ahead and hoping next year will be different.

My garden is a mix of fruits, veggies, and herbs, and I’m excited to see how everything grows. I can’t wait to share the progress and hopefully the success along the way—so stay tuned 🌿
