Prosecco & Pasta Perfection

Sometimes you just need a nice dinner out—good food, relaxed ambiance, and a chance to slow down and enjoy the evening. That’s always my experience at Amerigo Italian Restaurant. It’s polished without being pretentious—perfect for a relaxed night out centered around great food.

I started the evening with a glass of prosecco (always a good idea) and the Tuscan Crab Cakes. Made with jumbo lump crab and served with greens, white bean salsa, and a lemon basil butter sauce, they were light, flavorful, and a beautiful way to begin the meal.

For the entrée, I enjoyed the Seafood Pasta—a generous mix of shrimp, crab, and crawfish tails tossed with fettuccine in a spiced Parmesan cream sauce with tomato and scallions. Rich, comforting, and packed with flavor.

We also ordered the Hot Chicken Pasta Alfredo, featuring fiery chicken tenders over creamy fettuccine Alfredo—a bold, Southern-inspired twist that definitely stood out.

And of course, dessert was non-negotiable. The Chocolate Pecan Fudge Brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and Kahlúa chocolate sauce was the perfect sweet ending.

Overall, it was a lovely dining experience with beautifully prepared dishes and a welcoming ambiance. If you’re looking for a refined yet cozy Italian dinner in Memphis, Amerigo is always a solid choice.
