Sakura Nights Are Always a Good Idea

I recently had dinner at Sakura, and let me just say—it was one of those meals where you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. From the vibrant flavors to the cozy atmosphere, everything about the night was just fun. Sakura is known for serving premium-quality sushi using fresh fish, seafood, and authentic Japanese ingredients.

We kicked things off with a round of sake and along with sake (fresh salmon) and maguro rolls (fresh tuna), which set the tone just right. For appetizers, I went with the spring vegetable rolls (super crispy and packed with flavor) and the shrimp gyoza, which were pan-fried to golden perfection.

For my entrée, I chose the Salmon Teriyaki bento box, and wow—what a spread! It came with four pieces of California roll, a spring roll, cucumber salad, steamed rice, a dumpling, clear soup, and house salad with that classic ginger dressing. The salmon was beautifully grilled with a sweet, savory glaze that I loved.

We also shared shrimp tempura and vegetable tempura—both crispy, light, and perfect for dipping in the tempura sauce. Every dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and more than generous in portion size.

Between the variety, freshness, and great prices, Sakura really delivers a top-tier sushi night. If you're looking for something casual but still deliciously satisfying, this spot is definitely worth checking out (https://www.sakuramemphis.com/)
